NOSEDIVE
Nosedive is a well-known, mostly well-received by critics and a highly entertaining episode from the Netflix TV-series Black Mirror, which tells a story of Lacie Pound - a young woman who in an attempt to afford a new beautiful house goes on a trip to her life-long friend's wedding. The story is set presumably in the future, in a world where people rate each other through phones and their ratings influence everyone’s socioeconomic status and opportunities.
Directed by Joe Wright, a famous director of Pride & Prejudice (2005) and Atonement (2007), Nosedive has mostly unknown, though incredibly talented actors including Bryce Dallas Howard as Lacie Pound and Alice Eve as Naomi Blestow, Lacie’s influential friend. The witty script was written by two incredible comedy-writers and directors Michael Schur and Rashida Jones, who the viewer might know from such TV-hits as The Office and Parks and Recreation.
